Base Model Specifications
Welcome to the C-Class.
The C-Class exemplifies Mercedes-Benz craftsmanship, offering a balance of luxury, performance and tech suited for discerning drivers. The sedan is as classy as it’s always been, and without the back doors, the coupe gains a visual appeal any sportscar enthusiast can appreciate. In fact, the C-Class Coupe looks quite a lot like the AMG GT supercar–an observation many reviewers have made. Or if more subtle sporty styling and fun in the sun sound more appealing to you, the C-Class Cabriolet might be right up your alley. Let’s take a closer look at all three and what reviewers have been saying.
The 2017 C-Class Sedan
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has awarded the C-Class with its Top Safety Pick award, which means this is one of the safest sedans on the road. Your family or clients will also appreciate the gorgeous interior design courtesy of the Mercedes-Benz Italian design studio. In their glowing review of the 2017 C-Class, Edmunds notes in particular that “Materials quality is excellent… The cabin also gets high marks for usability thanks to Mercedes’ COMAND infotainment interface.”
The 2017 C-Class Coupe
From 0-60 in 6.0 seconds, this coupe is a delight to drive. But don’t take our word for it; Edmunds exclaims, “We drove for several hours straight in a C300 Sport model with sport seats and never once longed for a comfier perch.” We at Kelowna Mercedes-Benz believe you’ll also enjoy the driving experience during a test drive with us. Edmunds also describes the C-Class as a “stylish luxury coupe that simply feels more special than most rivals.” We agree on this point too.
The 2017 C-Class Cabriolet
If it’s a coupe that represents performance, then it’s a convertible that represents freedom. How does driving on air sound to you? The AIRMATIC air suspension with multiple suspension tuning modes might appeal to you. And the cabin is quiet with the fabric top down, filtering wind noise better than you’d expect. Car and Driver rates the C-Class particularly high with a 4&1/3-stars rating out of 5, and their Editors’ Choice award.
“Driving Performance” in three new forms. The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC harnesses AMG-enhanced power via its sport-tuned chassis and all-wheel drive. The Mercedes-AMG C 63 and C 63 S models send their power to the rear wheels for AMG’s motorsports-proven athletic agility and ability.

- Car and Driver – 4&1/3 stars / 5, Editors’ Choice
- Driving.ca – “The C 300 4MATIC Coupe is a very pretty car, one that draws attention. But it’s also nuanced, balancing performance with panache.”
- The Car Connection – “Large round vents, a flowing center console, and inlaid metallic-look panels in the door all speak a design language that’s usually reserved for the executive luxury class.”
- Edmunds – “The new 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe and convertible (Cabriolet) share some of the sedan’s best traits that include meticulous craftsmanship, a long list of available high-tech features and the kind of luxury you expect from Mercedes-Benz.”
