The Assistant Service Manager is an essential member of the service team. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the client-based service sales process yield exceptional results for the organization and all staff under their direction. Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and maintain a positive and exciting work environment that promotes strong morale and continuous growth, by leading effectively and supporting your team’s outcomes
  • Effectively communicate with clients in person, by phone and by e-mail
  • Positively and proactively work with our clients to guide them through the service experience
  • Ensure customer’s service needs are met and their impression of the dealership is enhanced by explaining the maintenance and/or repairs, timelines, and financial obligations required and arriving at the best possible solution
  • Maintain a strong level of communication with technicians to promote the adherence of timelines and cost guidelines
  • Ensure all processes are followed during customer visit to maximize CSI results
  • Accurately complete administrative responsibilities and paperwork, as required
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a positive and exciting work environment that promotes strong service, good morale, and continuous growth, by showing up with a bright, positive attitude each day, and supporting peers

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar position with proven sales performance in a service environment, leadership and team management experience
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Proven management ability
  • Automotive knowledge is a requirement
  • Dealership experience is a requirement
  • CDK/one eighty/xtime experience is an asset
  • MS Word, Excel experience an asset
  • Able to work with all levels of management and staff
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills
  • Must have strong time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
